Inspiring Women Scientists: Next Generations Leaders
Description
The CUNY Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, the CUNY Graduate School and University Center, and the Feminist Press present Inspiring Women Scientists: Next Generations Leaders, a half day forum featuring keynote speaker, panel, and breakout sessions. This forum aims to support women students, faculty, and professionals in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and bring together faculty, staff, and students from institutions across the New York metropolitan area and region. The forum will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Jill Tarter, Director, Center for SETI Research, Bernard M. Oliver Chair for SETI at the SETI Institute, and Dr. Mary E. Kicaz, Assistant Administrator for Satellite and Information Services at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
