Webinar Meeting: Leadership Capacity Building for Manufacturing & Manufacturing Related Programs
Description
PLEASE SAVE THE DATE! Sinclair Community College, Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University Calumet have received an NSF-ATE grant for the project, ‘Leadership Capacity Building for Manufacturing and Manufacturing Related Programs.' We are in the second year of the project. The project will build leadership capacity, enable the required change, and meet NSF-ATE program goals using the manufacturing discipline as the ‘common denominator’. The four pillars of manufacturing knowledge framework for incorporating rapidly evolving manufacturing curricular change requirements is built into the project. It begins with knowledge new to the discipline and carried through to manufacturing and manufacturing-related programs accreditation criteria. Under this project, administrators and instructors from two and four-year manufacturing-related programs, as well as Master Teachers from secondary schools will be invited to participate in three webinars and two workshops at two different locations. The grant will partially support the cost of attending the workshops by providing hotel accommodations and a stipend.
