Description
Microsystems MEMS Webinars for Community College and University STEM Educators - Topics and Instructional Kits You Can Use in the Classroom. The Southwest Center for Microsystems Education SCME presents free interactive online seminars, hosted by NetWorks, that you can attend from virtually anywhere. Each 90-minute session is presented by a subject matter expert and can include screen sharing, live chat, polling, and Q & A between the audience and presenters. Certificates of attendance will be emailed after each webinar.
The SCME is funded by a National Science Foundation Department of Undergraduate Education grant DUE0902411 in collaboration with the University of New Mexico, Central New Mexico Community College, and Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute.
All webinars include an introduction to the Southwest Center for Microsystems Education SCME, America''s authority for microsystems MEMS education: Who are we?, How do we help educators teach microsystems?, How to access our "cleanroom in a box" instructional kits, Learning Modules, and MEMS information via our website.
